Owners with 40k+ miles on their 37s

Posted on the no bed forums too, but I’ll ask around here.

Like the title says, I’m looking for new 37s that will last. I drive 24k miles a year and don’t want to replace them every 16 months. I also wheel my rig and I like to play on the rocks. Looking for owners who have driven over 40k miles on their tires. Pictures of said tires at said mileage would be great too ??

Also, not looking for KO2s, I don’t have great experience with them in the past, and I’m looking for a 37” tire. KO2s are a little too small for my likings. There’s tons of sites out there that say brand X tires last the longest, but I’m looking for real world results. I’m not opposed to All Terrains as I would assume they last longer than MTs anyways, but they’ve got to hold up when rock crawling.

I'm not at 40k miles, but have no doubt I will get well past that on my Grabber ATX's from General Tire. I currently have 26,000 miles on them and rotate every oil change... I'll try to get a picture with a penny or a quarter or something so you can gauge the tread left.

I don't have recent pictures of my tread and I'm on vacation, but General Grabber ATX have held up extremely well for me. They are a knockoff KO2 style. I have 55,000 miles on them, had them since the truck came off the lot, and rotated religiously every 5k miles, and rebalanced at about 2/3 of the rotations. This includes once monthly (or more) wheeling trips, where I would air down to 12 PSI, lots of highway driving 75MPH + in Texas, and towing a trailered LJ from there to New England, at about the maximum limits of what the Mojave can tow. They probably have about 5k more miles left on them. Zero chunking, very minimal road noise even as they wore. The wear was pretty even for a 37, probably due to the frequent rotations and rebalancing. They were excellent ATs in the rocks at Moab and in Texas, and did decently at all the badge trails at a muddy Hot Springs off road park.

I got these as part of the Mopar buy 3 get 1 for $1 sale when I bought the truck, so I saved a lot, which is why I got them. They were the exact same price as the 315/70s that I originally was going to put on them from Discount Tire. I would absolutely get these again in a heartbeat, but as I am on the east coast now, I will probably opt for a more aggressive AT to deal with the more frequent mud.

These tires might not be as hardcore as you want, but the Nitto Recon Grapplers and the Patagonia XTs will have excellent road mileage.

But I've said it once and I'll say it a million times. My all-time favorite tire is the Delium Terra Raider (on sale right now for $280) I have taken these tires on every type of terrain and highway with 0 issues, wear was even, no pitting, cracking, or chunks. I made the switch to Patagonias 37s because I thought it would be better for my highway miles and I am seriously dissapointed, I can't wait to switch back to Deliums.

In Moab, these are 35s but you get the point.

These tires are unstoppable and almost no one knows about them. Across my 5 Jeeps I've used Milestar Patagonia, Cooper Discoverer, Goodyear Duratrac, and these Deliums, I will probably never rate a tire better than these. It's a meaty, true to size tire. I was asked multiple times on 35s if they were 37s.

Highly doubt they would ship them, it’s a mom n pop tire shop in Southern California. They even sell the 35s for $185

Something to consider…two sets of wheels/tires? I run 35’s for daily and towing our camper cross country. I throw on the 37’s for wheeling. I can also tow the camper with the 37’s if heading to Moab etc. without issue, just easier with the 35’s.

I tried that already. When I was leveled I could run stocks to work and 37s to play. Seemed like a great idea that never panned out for me. 108lbs per corner isn’t fun swapping out all the time.

Considering most of the 20k has been hiway miles, I expect at least 15 more....and these are MT, AT are less expensive and wear better on pavement
