Holy crap these things are driving me nuts.
I decided to swap my plastic bumper for the rubicon steel bumper and these damn parking sensors can kiss my ass.
Different brackets to mount them in the steel bumper. I think I got the right things just to run into assembly issues. Finally got them all installed with I think the right parts but now I am not sure if the orientation is correct.
Anyone with a rubicon can you please help?

need to know how they should be oriented. Images would be helpful.

These are the parts I bought.

park distance bezels
6MH82RXFAB
6MH83RXFAB
6MH84RXFAB
6MH85RXFAB

Park Distance Bezels
6UD40RXFAA
6UD41RXFAA
6UD42RXFAA
6UD43RXFAA

after installing them I followed the orientation of my overland bumper but when I put it in reverse the warning starts immediately.

Did you ever get this figured out? I replaced mine with an aftermarket bumper and now the thing starts beeping and going nuts as soon as itā€™s in reverse. I thought maybe they need reset. Dealer checked it out and said no reset available.

All trial and error.

I started with the center sensors. Parked really to something and slowly moved forward until the object was at the last yellow/orange line on the camera and adjusted the inner sensors till they were pretty close.

Then did the same with each outside sensor.

Is it perfect and like it was originally? No. Is it workable? Yes.

Hmm...Iā€™m confused. What did you adjust? The angle of the bezels?

I bought a Magnum Raptor rear bumper. They call for replacing the bezels with ones from a Ram 1500. They are perfect straight with no angles. The bumper is pretty much straight too so Iā€™m not sure adjusting the angles would help.

Yep, I just twisted them around until they were positioned to work. The sensors snap into the actual bezel which can turn in the bumper.

It isnā€™t easy. YOu have to grab the sensor from behind the bumper as well as the bezel and turn both at the same time. You kill your fingers.

Ok thanks for the tip. I may need to grab some of the Rubicon bezels to try it.

Doug did you have a steel bumper to begin with or a plastic bumper?

I had the plastic bumper on a Sport S. The bezels were plastic welded to the bumper. The holes in the Magnum bumper are slotted so that the Ram bezels can only be inserted one way from the outside. Snapping the sensor into the bezel from inside the bumper locks it all together but the bezels wonā€™t rotate.

It looks like your sensors are just sitting in the holes. Can you poke them inside by accident if you push on them?
No they are tight in there
