So I head off to the local clinic to see my doctor for my check up and I come back out to my Jeep after my check up and see that a older lady in a Ford van has decided to park close, as in very close, to my Gladiator. Mind you I park way away from everyone else as I do not like door dings. On top of that I park as close to the one side of the parking space as I can so IF someone parks in the space next to me they will have plenty of room in their space. If my wife would of been with me she could not of been able to get into the passenger door. Unbelieveable......

Happens to me sometimes to. I think it's something about the weird fenders on jeeps that makes people think they need less room than they do. It seems to happen way more in my jeep than when I had a car. The other day when I picked my daughter up from daycare, we both had to get in from the passenger side, because someone was that close. Usually I try to park as far away from everyone as I can. (unless I see another Jeep:)). This time, I was just going in and out, so I parked in the front row. I come back out, and can't get in.

Eh that’s plenty of room unless your fat

I can say this as I am fat

And you’re mad because she did exactly what you say that you do park close to one side of the line now granted she is on the line but same concept

Actually I was parked next to a curb with a tree / grass area in it so there was no parking space on the driver side of my Gladiator. I guess next time I will park ON TOP of the curb...LOL!!!

This happens all the time. I think its a subconscious thing that other folks MUST park next to another vehicle. I especially love the people who are trying to park in the spot next to me while I have the back doors open and helping my kids out and I look around and there are countless other spots open. It is really infuriating

This is actually one of the reasons I put Overland side steps on my Mojave. Whoever parks next to me will need to have doors that are really high off the ground to ding my doors. It's so nice to just be able to park anywhere and not worry too much.

Same here, one of the great features of the oem steps.
The parking has happened to me a few times too, most times it is just someone who is clueless, not malicious, given the demographic of the driver in the van she probably can't drive it very well and parks away from everyone so she can back it up and get out.

One of the few perks to losing a leg. I usually avoid parking problems with handicap plates, unless it is the first of the month and all the disability checks hit.

She actually came out of the medical clinic and I saw her walking towards the van as I was getting into my Jeep. I asked her politely why she would park so close to my Jeep when there were so many other empty spaces to the left of her van. She bluntly told me that she was a caner survivor and that she didn't hit my Jeep. I told her I was sorry that she had been ill and to please leave a bit more room between vehicles next time. She actually got nasty with me about telling her how to park so I told her to go to hell and left. (I know I should of not said that but up till then I was more than nice to her!)

People are strange sometimes, do you think she parked close to you on purpose or just doesn't care and didn't like being called out on it?
