Tell more about the aux batt removal. Did you leave that space empty? Or add a different batt ? i want to put a small deep cycle in there, connect to an inverter and isolator and drive the winch and 120v outlet
A small battery will not drive a winch.

I removed the aux battery.

I started with the “jumperless” method, I.e., remove the aux bat negative from the main battery, insulate the end and store it, pull fuse f42 (to disable the power control relay). The truck still works exactly as designed - even the stop/start still works. Later I pulled out the aux battery.

The Walmart Group 94 battery has virtually the same power as both Mopar batteries combined.

Inverter power calculations are complicated. Inverter efficiency has to be considered. Also, you can’t use all the amps in a battery when you are inverting.

That’s what happens when they’re written in Chinese, then translated in English, just like the website listed above.

I set my toaster level to 3. When I set it to 4 it just burns the bread. I can’t believe there’s a 5 option on there.

I looked at the cheap versions on Ebay and Amazon but was put off by the reviews (not reliable). The SmartStoptart has the reputation of being absolutely reliable. So far mine has worked as advertised.

BTW, I've been hitting the button to turn off the stop start for 3 years. Mostly I don't remember until the first time my engine stops. :)
I had the Smartstopstart thing for a while with my last Gladiator before I moved on to a Tazer and never had an issue. Got tired of hitting the Avengers button every time!

I just bought and installed the tazer mini which also disables stop/start. It's $200 more than that stop/start eliminator but you get so many more features. I can't believe I waited this long to get one. It's especially useful if you have a rubicon.

Please explain the "Rubicon" qualifier. Make sure you get the spelling and punctuation write. :)

Happily! Photos attached.

You should expect quality both in presentation and function from the places you patron.

I get your point. Some pf the narrative written with Chinese products is beyond bad. I tend to look at websites and product narrative as a function of quality. I’m done buying china junk and typically go out of my way to buy US stuff if I can.

With the tazer mini you can disconnect the sway bar in 2H, and engage lockers in 2H or 4H. Iam guessing it's the same for the Mojaves rear locker too.

Another big bonus for me was the ability to turn on bed lights with the key fob, remapping the cruise control buttons to turn on rear camera, trigger rear camera when using turn signal and so on. There's a bunch of stuff the tazer can do.

Fun thread, lots of good... stuff.

I used Autostop Eliminator (https://www.autostopeliminator.com/). I ordered the day I bought my truck. I've had it installed for about a week and absolutely love it.

Also an American owned and operated business.
I have the same https://www.autostopeliminator.com/ Installed in my wife's 22 Honda Civic limited had it in hand B4 the car hit the dealer and installed when it hit the garage never a problem also had it installed in the 21 Gladiator never a problem . Sold it after getting the Tazer .

The battery tray is big enough for a 94R battery. If you have a 48R there is a spacer piece in the tray that can be removed.
Just to add to that, nothing else intended -

If you have aux switches, you have the larger battery and no spacer.
(it's part of the aux switch package)

All your bases are belong to us type of thing?

Lather,
rinse,
repeat
that's a programmer's nightmare - no count, endless repeat, no 'do while', no 'while' - simply repeat with no end. Maybe do while bottle has contents?

There's so little to go wrong - it's most likely a simple timer circuit that mimics the switch press xx seconds after receiving a power signal.
Somewhere out there in the universe, I think it was youtube, a fellow built one for 25 bucks and it was indeed a simple timer device. There's so little to go wrong other than it just stop working, but there's no real load on anything in the circuit so unless something weird happens, it's likely to last as long as the rest of the Jeep.

A small battery will not drive a winch.

I removed the aux battery.
Not only that, but ideally you have the alternator running at a high idle to supplement the winch. A small battery would be killed running a typical winch on a Jeep.
I can't imagine fitting anything in that space strong enough to do any real work at all - maybe start my Kawasaki V-twin John Deere lawn tractor engine? Maybe.....
