Peter's Mill Run and Luray Caverns

Wife and I went on a little weekend getaway and did our first trail in the Gladiator and did some sight seeing. And even helped a local farmer air his trailer tires.

The videos we took and some of the pictures are too big to be added so I posted as many screenshots as I could. But it was a fun trail. Mostly just rocks. We went from the north end down. About 2 hours and 30 minutes it took us. And then a pit stop to Luray caverns on the way back to Shenandoah.

Ah this is literally my plan this weekend but I need some help! Were there any stops for camping on the trail? Is there are turnaround or shorter loop if I have kids with me? Looks like a great time!

Awesome, any idea how far in the first camp spot is?

Not sure about camping on the trail but check out Creekside campground in Edinburg. You need to check in in Edinburg before you do the trail anyway.

Also don't forget to use the app while there to get your badge.

There's also a campsite right outside side the north entrance. Not on the trail.

Don't forget to take the kids to the Woodstock tower. Great views of the river and possibly gliders that take off from that area.

Also check into the trail on the app in the valley. Signal at trail was poor for me (T-Mobile).
