Plywood ? Do I have a choice ? I prefer Quality Marine grade birch (ply) . . . & sure I can make saddle work . :like:

It is the same teaser as Cars.com.

Will your chair fit in the bed of a JT? I've read online that a 48 inch wide sheet of plywood will not fit in the 50 inch wide tailgate opening.

can confirm. lol, to be fair ive added at least 60 views to this video... cant get enough of it. im excited to see more, but I want a review from a gear head / jeep guy. I get a bit annoyed with the "automotive enthusiast" review spending more time talking about how the dislike how the back side of the A pillar grab handle is hard plastic and should be full grain leather like a rolls royce phantom and they sum up how it rides in 2 words.

Technically, this is a valid new thread because it's a completely different site..... With the same video, my bad again.

I too can't wait for the embargo, I want to hear Jonny Lieberman say the good bad and the ugly, a real pros and cons review.

Pros-ply rated, 7k towing, top down.
Cons-no full grain saddle leather on "o shit" handles.

I wont give the video a thumbs up unless they show them sliding at least 3 sheets of ply in the bed.

Let's boycott all videos unless they show plywood!

Damn good idea!!!!
I emailed TFL asking if they could discuss the plywood situation and especially the filler neck "concern". lol, this is what they replied,
"
Hey Jon,

We are scheduled to go on the first drive event next week! Look for a review in the very near future. However, we are not sure what sort of testing equipment they will have there. We will do our best to show off the capabilities as much as possible.

Thanks,

TFL"

Well I guess we shall see TFL report on this as soon as the embargo is lifted. I suspect that the edge of the plywood will have to sit on the little lip just to the right of the gas fill buldge. And I can just seeing the entire plywood pile shifting just a tad to the right and then being in the bed at an angle like this. If this happens then it’s gonna be hard to make me stop laughing.

If you put a 2x4 in slot #1, a 2x6 in slot 2, and put the tailgate in the middle position using the clip (#5) it should provide a flat surface and prevent that issue. Seems like a lot of work but If you just have your precut 2x4 and 2x6 ready for your daily trip to pick up plywood you should be fine.

FYI, I made this diagram for a friend of mine that hates the Gladiator. So I send her a gladiator pic of the day to tell her about all of the features to annoy her. :)
