I have rubicon suspension, 1.5“ spacer with the 3/4” daystar in the back, on 35’s. If your trying to only use 1” up front to keep rake, you’ll have plenty of rake with the 1.5” up front with the rear spacer. Bottom pic is with weight in bed, levels it out perfectly.Anyone only use 1 inch spacer along with daystar 3/4 spacer on 35s (on rubi and mojave) with success? If you can post your pics it would be appreciated.
Thank you so much for the help!!!! My appointment is for Monday. How is your overland handling the new tires? Have you had a chance to assess impact to your MPG with the new tires?I have rubicon suspension, 1.5“ spacer with the 3/4” daystar in the back, on 35’s. That color combo and wheels look awesomeDaystar 1.5” front and .75” rear spacer with 340 and 343 front springs, also have Rubicon Fox shocks, Mopar LCAs, Rubicon Express front shock extensions and Daystar front lower spring correction pads. 35” tires on AEV wheels.
II was averaging 21.5 freeway (mostly what i drive), now I’m at like 20/19.5? Not a huge hit, plus the way this truck drives now, with the suspension and the 35’s is night and day. Drives how it should’ve. No more freeway wander, or steering correction. I did add the Fox IFS steering stabilizer. Not sure if it was that, or just the overall weight of the tires etc. But 100% recommend, everything I did to mine.Thank you so much for the help!!!! My appointment is for Monday. Did you do it all at the same time?II was averaging 21.5 freeway (mostly what i drive), now I’m at like 20/19.5? I added the stabilizer before the tires. I didn’t notice a huge improvement in handling with the stabilizer and stock tires, but once I added the 35’s the steering stabilizer kicked in and now it’s perfect.Did you do it all at the same time?
I am looking at doing the exact same suspension setup as you did on your overland. Was wondering if you thought shock extensions and/or geometry correction brackets were needed or not? Were you able to get all the geometry correct?I added the stabilizer before the tires. I did buy shock extension brackets for the front, along with the LCA’s from the Mopar 2” lift kit. I tried the suspension with and without the shock extension brackets and the ride was much better with the brackets in my opinion so I kept them on. I went to get an alignment after everything was installed but didn’t need one as all of my geometry was correct. I was shocked and stoked to save $90 bucks on the alignment.I am looking at doing the exact same suspension setup as you did on your overland. Do you have the part numbers and prices that you paid for the LCA’s and shock lowering brackets? If not, no worries.I did buy shock extension brackets for the front, along with the LCA’s from the Mopar 2” lift kit. Did you install everything from the rubicon takeoff suspension (I.e. end links, front and back springs, shocks, control arms, etc…)?Not quite the set up your asking for. But I have an Overland with Rubicon suspension. I was contemplating doing the daystar 3/4” rear spacer as well as the Teraflex leveling kit 1.5” up front. After adding the teraflex (although I did use the full 1.5 not just the 1 inch) I decided not to even go with the Daystar rear now. I like the way mines sits now. Very very little rake Almost not even noticeable. Even Adding the Rubicon suspension in itself gave me a slight little lift upfront anyways. And I actually don’t mind a little bit of rake. Also I’m sitting on 35 equivalents.
** Both pics are with the Rubi suspension
Nope just shocks and springs. No need to. I researched myself along with a few others I know of and all part numbers are the same. Only thing different are the shocks and springs (obviously the springs have different compression rates). Anything else is just extra parts which also adds to shipping weight if you're going that route.Did you install everything from the rubicon takeoff suspension (I.e. end links, front and back springs, shocks, control arms, etc…)?
