Plush max tow

Until June 15th you could add the max tow package to Sport, Sport S, and Freedom trims. Since June 15th the only trim left that can get the max tow package is the basic Sport trim. That means: no available factory hard top headliner, only 5” dash screen, etc. That’s not great for long distance towing.

Do you guys think they’ll expand max towingto more “plush” trims in 2022?

That's right. The Freedom trim is no longer available and Max Tow Package is no longer available for the Sport S trim.

I’ve been in discussion with Gupton since 7/5 and they were able to price out a Sport S w/ Max Tow for me.

That might be a misprint in the order guide. I ordered on June 23rd and got a Sport S with max tow and just about every option except for the advanced safety group (don’t like adaptive cruise control and vehicle braking).
I don‘t have a build date yet but they were able to submit the order and I did get a VIN number.

That's great news. Hopefully the July order guide comes up soon and clarifies that. There's no way to even add A/C with Max Tow on a Sport. That's pretty nuts.

The site builder lets you do one, I just built one yesterday. Sport S 8.4" all the bells and whistles. Local dealers have 3 like it.

Jeep site lets you build a Freedom as well but that's just so you can search inventory. That being said, my local dealership says they can still order Max Tow on Sport S so it might just be an error in the June order guide. CarsDirect seems to go off the order guide as they don't show the Freedom trim and don't allow Max Tow on Sport S.

Sure isn't the first time that's been wrong. Even the "build your Jeep" site has been wrong before.
One time they said the standard Overland tires were A/T tires.
Dealers are the only way to know for a FACT what's available and what's not because they live by what is on their system.

The build configurator is showing 6,250 GVWR on the Max Tow package for Sport, Sport S, and Freedom trims.

Why, what "plush" options are not available on the max tow? I think proximity locks is the only thing, and that's not hard to add after the fact.
