Hi! I have a 2020 Gladiator Sport. With doors off, when i turn off the jeep, the dash stays on and the radio doesn't go off. It drains the battery after a day. Its like it doesn't recognize that the doors are removed and its waiting for the doors to be closed and turn off. I do have an aftermarket stereo and wonder if the stock stereos have something to do with this function that I am now missing. Anyone have any idea why this happening? Is there a setting I can change? I have a Jscan and the pigtail OBD connector, but don't see any settings that look like they would control that. I've never had this issue with my JK or other Jeeps that i've owned and had after market stereos in them.

Check for bent pins in the door connectors. May not be your issue, but they can cause odd problems.

Yes that function is in the factory stereo.
Had the same problem with my IA unit but they fixed the software

What stereo do you have?, You may have to make a jumper wire/plug to trick it into thinking the door is closed. It only looks at the driver's door fyi
