HI All can anyone tell me if the lifter issue is covered under this 60,000 mile warranty?
Wonder iffy 2023 has more coverage than others @ 36,000 miles?

All engine internal parts are covered under 5/60k. Warranty is not based off noise/concern. It covers parts being replaced and subsequent labor to replace parts

Engine - 5 years/60,000 miles.
That's the engine, right?

Don't get heartburn over it - the issue isn't as common as the internet makes it appear. Tens of thousands of the 3.6 out there with no issues.
We've had 4 Jeeps with the 2nd gen 3.6 and not so much as a whimper out of the valve train on any of them.

It's not infallible, and you can't take one to your service manager and demand something be done, but I track my engine's health by submitting oil samples for analysis every time I do an oil change (5000) miles.

If an adverse amount of certain metals begin to appear in the reports then I'll have some idea of where we're headed and can take steps then.

What steps? I don't know yet.
I don't know if I'd be inclined to repair the issues or to trade the vehicle off and let it possibly disappoint someone else. I don't know.

But for now, 2 oil changes in, the engine appears to be wearing normally with no indications of impending doom.
