It appears that TRU BLUE Ultra Performance Power Steering Fluid by PSC (Performance Steering Components) has a loyal following. It would be better for them if MS-11655 or at least MS.90030 (or both) were included on the compliance list. Each of these two MS-numbers has appeared on the label of the correct MOPAR power steering fluid. Also, compatible, equivalent, and compliant are different. I will consider using a product that explicitly states or clearly infers compliance with a MOPAR manufacturer specification.

I am skeptical of part number equivalence because it can lead to assumed compliance with warranty terms and void a warranty, depending on the consumer protection laws in a given country. With the exception of ZF-approved ATF (part number) equivalents for the ZF 8HP50 / Chrysler 850RE automatic transmission (a special case), I always check for a second way in which MS-number compliance can at least be inferred.

On the other hand, if a vehicle is out of warranty, it's all good. For any newbies or members who recently joined, I recommend reading this entire thread (for advice from experienced members of this forum) before deciding which power steering fluid to use.

Bought my Mojave X in August. At the first oil change (which I do myself) I noticed that the electric power steering reservoir was empty! Dealership charged me $35 bucks for the fluid and naturally I bitched that it should've been filled from the factory. They gave me the phone number for Jeep Cares, lol!

Did they bill it as a warranty visit but still charged you for the fluid? Irregardless, that is pretty petty of them to do that and gives you some insight if you have future issues you need to take to them for warranty.

No, they didn't have time to get me in on a moments notice and wanted me to make an appointment. I just bought the fluid and rolled.
