Working on my On Board Air system using some items I've had for a bit. I wanted something removable and portable when needed.
using a 4 gallon seamless tank with a Viair 444 compressor.
Just waiting on the Swagelok fittings to come in so I can wrap it up.

I plan on using the bed rack system so I made a aluminum bracket to allow it to mount using T slot nuts and screw knobs.

All done.
Need to add a pressure relief valve and changing the pressure switch to 175.
Also added some rubber feet to the compressor mount to add some additional support.

Dropped the rear reflectors out of the bumper and added some rear utilities lights. what a difference! Now I can see when I am backing up.
It was more of a challenge then I expected because the reflectors are tapered. I wanted try to recreate that as best as possible so the lights sit flush and not have a gap. wired it in to the auxiliary 4 button in the cab.

Looks great, plus you can flash any tailgaters. Of course, around here if you did that they would start shooting!

Great build thread. I love what you did with the lights. Nice clean setup. What are the lights?

About a month later a went with the Mopar 2” Lift, SCS 17” wheels and 37” BFG A/T’s.
The wheels were originally bronze in color and decided to change it to a matte gold.

This OBA system is the slickest install I’ve ever seen. Very nice work. Are those black brackets and the tank custom? I’ve been looking for a nice aluminum tank for my own project. I found a company called BCFab who makes some nice ones.
