TO BE HONEST WITH YOU WHY WOULD U EVEN GO THROUGH A CAR WASH JUST WASH IT YOURSELF
Because, I pay 30$ a month and can go through as many times as I want. I know the manager and he doesn't care how dirty my JT is before I go through, and if you say you can tell the trail scratches from any I potentially got from the auto car wash I'd call you a liar.

I’ll take this as sarcasm or trolling… most of us don’t have enough hours in the day to hand wash our trucks. Anywhom OP has a good leg to stand on, it will be just the usual back and forth with insurance.
It’s not sarcasm. It’s acceptable to drive a Jeep around that’s completely filthy while you’re waiting on time to wash it. I washed mine for the third time last week, then went on a run that same day. Bought it in August of 2022.

I would take that bet in a heartbeat.

I never have run mine through one of those, the geometry is mind boggling with this truck and that kind of car wash. One can say Jeeps are lot of things streamlined would not be one of them.
Probably several hundred washes between our JLs and JT. Small transit vans go through them every day too. The sensors keep the brushes the same distance off the surface be it square, round, point, doesn't matter. With the spare hanging off the back they do a terrible job right around the tire but otherwise it's fine. As far as the brushes leaving micro scratches and swirl marks, they are hidden by the pinstripes from wheeling. For anyone worried about what those brushes are doing to the paint, you should try manzanita.

My JT is a rag top, I can't go to a car was. I do it myself, I try to make the time. My top gets treated evry 6 months, When I wash the truck body, I dry it and spray it with a good spray wax. I'm on the beach alot during the summer months, I need to do this.

I am very fortunate . Every weekend in my neighborhood there are these three girls in their two piece swim suits with a hose and a bucket that will wash and dry my Jeep for ten bucks.

The amount of automated car washes in my town is crazy, with more under construction. IYKYK

I own a medium size printing company.
I was today years old when I learned they have members only car washes.
It's a subscription. It's a newer thing. You pay $20-$40 a month and can use it every day (if you wanted) Mine is Quik Quack and it does a nice job. It's close to the house and I just stop on the way home from work about twice a week. Go thru the wash and then park and they have vacuums stations. Get out do a final wipe to get all the drips and I'm in and out in less than 10 mins.

Had a 2000 Camaro SS that had damage inflicted upon it by an automatic car wash (obviously not a modified Jeep) and it was a battle to get the damage covered(6 months long). After that I swore I’d never use another automatic car wash! I never have!!!! So to all that say you don’t have time I can wash a lot of cars in 6 months! We do really have time. Time( hours and seconds) we don’t count but waste a lot of.
I've found myself many times washing my Jeep at 2 or 3am as I ran out of time during normal hours.
