I have been working on a dead stop tip in that is less temperamental. It utilizes cam timing to make it work. What I have found though, is, currently it requires high octane fuel to work with low level boost. So the questions is:

1. Would you prefer the tune be 89 octane tolerant

2. Or would you prefer a less temperamental take off that requires high octane?

I vote 2, which means nothing, for now…

I’m still running 92 octane on every fill up, just in case the next tank is the one HP Tuners starts providing support for my ECM.

Currently still using 92 octane for my current tune. Haven’t loaded any 89 octane tunes. So I guess I am voting for #2. Daily driver (36 miles to work).

Vote for 2. I run 93, but my truck isn't my dd, so I don't mind paying extra for high octane.

89 Octane .. Being all stock, not rock crawling, living in Pa with high gas taxes to boot, no desert; and a driver but not daily.
