Radio keeps going back to Sirius

i have Apple Music and stream in all my cars. Every other car I’ve ever had recalls the audio input when the vehicle switches off and starts with that. My Gladiator keeps starting back at Sirius even though I’ve turned the “auto play” off on Sirius and “on” for a “media player”. Does anybody else have this trouble or am I missing another setting somewhere. It’s really gonna suck when my “free” Sirius runs out and I’m starting on their sales pitch station every day

Try leaving the media player connected until the dash turns off completely, and having it connected before starting the truck.

It should be an adjustable setting, but I don't know where to look. I listen to XM all the time, and it starts up where I leave it.

There have been a few times where it switches to the USB input when I connect the phone, but that doesn't happen very often.

there a definitely a few minor bugs with carplay.... (like after phone call completion not going back to proper audio setting : radio , sat , etc )

While looking through the settings today, I noticed there's an option to enable autoplay for the USB port. I'm not sure which uconnect model you have, I have the 8.4" screen.

Bringing this post back from the dead but I have the same issue. I have a wireless charger for my phone and like using Bluetooth but every time I restart my Jeep it goes to Sirius and at whatever volume level it was at and no controls for the first few seconds.

Did you find a fix for this??

Nope. It’s still defaults back to Sirius/XM every time.
