So a weird thing is happening when I get into my Gladiator and has happened multiple times... When I get it and turn the Gladiator on, the screen pops up with a phone call on it, and the number it is calling is my own phone number. I look at my phone and its not actually calling anyone/myself. I've disconnected my phone and re-connected and it still does it. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas how to get this to stop?

Hi,

I would recommend trying a soft reset of you Uconnect system:

1) Put your vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN) For keyless start (push-button) vehicles: push the start button twice without having your foot on the gas or brake pedal

2) Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons (or tuner and volume knob), at the same time, for thirty seconds.

3) Let go of the buttons

4) Turn vehicle off

5) Open driverā€™s side door for thirty seconds (or until dash illumination goes black)

6) Close door

7) Restart vehicle

8) Let the media center load up and see if concern is still present

Let me know if this works. If not, we can get a case open for you.

Hey @JeepCares I tried this and it stopped for awhile but yesterday it started again and does it almost every time I get into the Gladiator. I'll be needing to go to the dealership soon as I just fell victim to the inner fender issue yesterday as well :-(

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this. Please let me know when you plan on visiting a dealership for this concern. I would be happy to open a case for you.

Hey @JeepCares I was doing some more research on this and it seems to be a lot more users having this issue. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/7042816?hl=en THis thread says that if you are in an app that has access to a microphone that it will show up on the radio like a call from your own number. I'm not sure if this is a Jeep issue, Uconnect issue, Android auto issue? Any suggestions on next steps other than disabling the microphone to my apps on my phone? Still want a dealer to research this?

I don't believe it is a Uconnect issue. I've had this happen in the car and the truck when looking at video alerts from the Ring app while connected by bluetooth.

So you think its an issue with Ring app? I know when I'm connected to the Jeep and I'm playing a video on a website, the sounds doesn't come thru. Wonder why the same doesn't happen with Ring or Wyze. Any idea @JeepCares

I would say it is an Android issue, but the Ring app is the only one I use that causes it for me. When I open a Live View, it engages the audio so you can talk through the camera. If a bluetooth audio device is connected, the sound it routed through that. When the vehicles are connected, it shows up on the head unit as a connected call. In both the Nissan and the Jeep, I have to manually hang up the call on the head unit when I close the Live View on the phone. I don't do this very often while in the vehicle, so I've only seen it a few times.
