Ram is recalling CP4 fuel pumps.

Everything I’m seeing says the 2500 and 3500 trucks, no mention of the 3.0 liter motor we are running. At least not yet.

IMO, no. I‘m of the opinion there is some sort of compatibility problem with the cp4 and the 6.7 Cummins.
I know I’ve read the pump is over-driven with the 6.7 Cummins. I don’t know how true that is.

I’m still fairly new to the eco, but I haven’t heard of any cp4 failures.

I haven’t seen a recall, just a notification that they are aware of the issue and will start the recall once a solution is in place. My wife drives a ‘20 Ram 2500

There have been a couple on here that failed. But no place near the numbers needed for a recall.
