Re-enforcement of pinch seam for side steps / rock sliders

This is a self made option to strengthen those various brads of side steps, etc... that mount to the pinch seam. Makes them much stronger and prevents bending the pinch seam near mounting points.

You could also opt for sliders that don't use the pinch seam in the first place.
Yep... but I haven't seen any with a step for 230 bucks... so... If these get messed up... I have my eye on a couple of the expensive options... in the meantime, these should save the pinch seam!

My nFab nerf bars w/ steps are nearly identical to his steps.
I've had mine on for a year, and the pinch weld hasn't changed shape or separated.
Then again, I don't use the bars/steps as rock sliders, either.

It is a tough find... to provide a working step and a rock slider... I might design my own... on my JK I made these... But the step is not where my wife would like it to be on this jeep. For the first two years the JT was not lifted... but now the step is needed lol...or a step stool. I must get creative... in the meantime I wheel trails with rocks... so like it or not they become rocksliders...
