In the process of installing a Clayton Overland+ 3.5" lift on my 2021 JTOD. I'm getting ready to drop the rear axle and trying to figure out what this hose is and if it's ok to disconnect it?
It attaches to the axle and then runs up to a plastic clip where it attaches to the underside of the bed. I lose sight of it after that.

It's the breather hose for the axle. Yes you can unclip it. But remember to install it once you're finished.

Thanks, I'll be back at it in the morning!

Also check to make sure that the breather hose has a little bit of slack at full suspension droop after the lift installation. You don't want that hose being pulled off while wheeling.

Do not remove the hose. Just unclip what you need for enough slack.

That's how the axle vents.
