Rear seat won't fold back down.

Anyone had this problem? I folded the drivers rear seat up to access storage and and it is stuck in the upright position and won't fold back down to the seated position.

I sometimes have that issue on my driveway incline..
Try again with the Jeep flat.
Also the mechanism to hold the seat up while driving can be tricky., push back, then pull forward quickly....

This might be stating the obvious, but are you sure the seat isn't locked with the key so it does't fold down?

Good question, I have never locked it before , I will check

Not locked, but pressing up and back real hard got it loose and it came back down.

The key only locks the seat back and not the lift up part.
