Might help some of yall out of warranty. My personal truck had a horrid water leak in the back, but could see no signs of intrusion anywhere. After removing the rear plastic panel with the seats out, found the exhauster being the cause. Factory folded the seal over casuing water being able to flow right in. Water running down the back wall of the cab would just have full access into the truck. Was luckily able to fold it back over with some effort, went ahead and clear silicone sealed the edges on both of them to really seal it as I noticed they dont make a perfect seal even when properly installed. Note the *proper fix for this is remove the bed or cab from the frame to remove and replace the exhausters. No access for full removal otherwise.
