Seen a few folks that have painted or wrapped them. Might be a more affordable option.

I'm in Charlotte and would be down to swap my Red for Grey. I occasionally pass-thru Knox on the way to Nashille. Not sure when the next trip over will be tho.

I saw a truck today whipping by in traffic, guy did a wood wrap on the dash scales and honestly didn't look bad based on what little I saw. A sorta Grand Wagoneer vibe.

As for your scales, you can make them what ever color, texture, design or patterns you want.

I’ve had plastic interior panels refinished and repainted from other cars, including large parts like center consoles. Most any body shop willing to do custom work can do it.

I was thankful that my Rubicon came with a gray one. I bet there are plenty of Rubicon owners with the red dash panel that'd love to swap with you.

About $1200 for the leather and $800 for front air conditioned seats…. Don’t go through katzkin or else it’s a lot more. Go your you local window and seats place and they can get it cheaper. I do all my stuff through precision seats n stuff in Knoxville

Red is the highlight color of rubicon trim, orange is mojave, 4xe is blue, sahra/overland is silver etc etc.

Yep, I got that . I have a Rubi myself, the question is why? It’s an odd color choice especially with certain colors.

FWIW for some body colors they opt to not go with red. As to why they choose some colors to have gray, and leave the others with red that's anybodies guess.

Early hydro-blue models had gray dash panels, as do all nacho Rubicons. I'm sure there are other colors they've opted for gray.
