Releasing the yard next week.

I am at SAE World Congress in Detroit and I got to sit in a Rubicon. The rep said they are releasing the production yard to dealers next week. I don't know if this is new information or not but there you have it.

I would think they would build the launch first to launch the gladiator . But was told a few pre spec we’re being made available to dealers prior .

Well the line has been running what 3+ weeks now? And they haven't built the first LE yet. What would you have Jeep do = just sit on several thousand JT's for several More weeks so the LE guys get their trucks first? They already have those trucks sold so Jeep will ship all the product they have onhand to recoup that multi-million dollar investment...

People say there are 3 at a dealer in the NYC area. They won't sell them yet but they're available to sit in and what not.

Larry H miller in Denver finally knows the 9 Gladiators they are receiving. I also know their pricing will be more than anyone on this forum is likely planning on spending:

“I have the list of Gladiators, our store is getting 9. A mix of sport's, Overland, and Rubicon. The manual transmission is not available yet.”

Although they have a mix, your saying they plan to mark up well above MSRP?

One dealer I talked to today had the configurations of his 12 allotted Gladiators. He said their prices will be $5k above MSRP. He quickly pointed out other dealers were aiming at $9k - $12k over.

I thanked him for his time and said I can wait for the deal heat to fade. Patience grasshopper, I says to myself. The whole LE debacle has me waiting for things to get sane and organized. I really do want the new one and to see it parked next to my ‘67 military version of the old Gladiator.
