Pretty sure it only works with 8.4 radio. It’s part of the “guardian” services. With sport s with cold weather group can you use the app to start your jeep
Is this something you can use from anywhere then? Have a Viper on our current car with a dedicated 3G connection. Didn't realize there was an in-house solution available on the JT.... maybe?I agree with @Linx. Gotta have the 8.4 with Guardian services enabled (e.g. subscription through Sirius).
Yes. I have the Guardian Services on my current car and you can do remote commands from an app including start, lock, unlock, horn, etc.Is this something you can use from anywhere then? I have app remote start and Guardian on my 7” factory radio. 2023 WillysPretty sure it only works with 8.4 radio. It’s part of the “guardian” services.
Yes.Do you need to pay for jeep connect service
No.and also the att hotspot?
You need a factory installed head unit with a cellular connection for the remote functions to work. You have to pay for the SiriusXM Guardian subscription to use the remote functions. If your truck is capable, it came with a one year Guardian subscription and the dealer should have setup an account when you got the truck. The wifi hotspot is a separate subscription you can buy from AT&T, if you have the cellular equipped head unit.Bringing back and oldy here….
But still valid.
What exactly do you need for the jeep connect service?
Do you need to pay for jeep connect service and also the att hotspot? I feel like I got so many trial offers when I got it.
