So I saw where getting the Gladiator Sticker off is done with a little heat and some cleaning. But how can you get the 4x4 badge off the fender as I want to replace it with the new one I got for the Sting Grey badge. I did a search but guess I didn't come up with anything.

Checking to see if anyone had done it

I haven't done the trail rated/4x4 badge but did pull the jeep lettering and imagine it would be similar. I used a cloth covered paint scraper to get under the lip of the letter and slowly pried it away from the panel. There was some residual glue and backing but that came off with some goo gone and elbow grease. Good luck.

Fishing line or dental floss, sawing motion, work slowly.

WD-40 or Goo Gone will remove adhesive residue. Wash, wax, polish.

You know what works even more fantastic for cleaning up the residue left after debadging with fishing line? Rubber eraser wheels Eraser Wheel Amazon . I just pulled the body side mouldings off my 2001 Corvette (Black) and used one of these wheels...... not a scratch.....not a swirl, can't tell the mouldings were on there for 19 years, and you know how black shows everything.

I used fishing line and Goo Gone for mine when I put the badgeglow on underneath my trail rated badge. Worked like a charm.

I used goo gone and replaced the Trail rated with the Jeep Performance Parts cog that came with the lift kit

I used a hammer and cold chisel. Used a putty knife to get the glue off.......I’ve an appointment at the body shop to repair the dents and paint......seriously, fishing line, and wd40, or goo gone. As others have said, works perfectly. That’s exactly what we used to use when I worked in a dealer body shop back in the day. (Chrysler/Plymouth dealer in the late 70’s).
