I'm trying to figure out how to remove the "Fuel Filler Housing" on my Gladiator - it's Item #2 in the sketch below.

Has anyone removed this piece or does anyone have instructions from the FSM that they can share?

Background: I'm preparing to have the typical body distortion around the fuel door taken care of by my PDR guy. I think removing this piece will provide open access to this area.

In case anyone needs the info, a buddy of mine at my local dealership helped me out.

You need to:
1) Remove filler cap & disconnect tether
2) Remove the rear inner splash shield
3) From inside wheelhouse, release 4 retaining clips - rear first, then the front
4) Carefully remove housing
5) Unplug wiring harness connector

Saw this morning (though I've not been keeping tabs lately due to work/life insanity) that the Sunrider will be a factory option going forward starting immediately. $895 It's probably already been stated elsewhere on the site, and I guess it's more than a rumor at this point, but seems like this is the place for that information.
