Replacing center console led light

My center console light doesn't work and not sure if it is bad or if it just didn't get plugged up when built. The USB below it works and illuminates around it but the upper light that shines down has never worked .Has anyone done this or opened up the center console that might have some tips to help ? Not finding any info online. I see the torx screws along the top under the cover but wasn't sure if that's where I start or not. Don't really see any fasteners besides those lol. Thanks

*** Update *** was able to figure it out. The activation switch was damaged and would not come on when the lid was opened .

Same thing happened to my Jeep. Did you get it fixed? My Jeep is still under warranty so hopefully I won't have to pay.
