I'm also retired military and have a Sarge Green JTM. The wife would have a Sarge Green JLU if I had my say but I had to settle for Snazzle-berry. I do commend your wife for sticking to the same job for all those years; I had a hard time doing 20+ in the Army.

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for your service. I was in the military (U.S.M.C.), but retired from being a Trooper (I loved every second of riding a patrol and have missed it since leaving). As far as the Jeep colors go, I actually LOVE that Snazzberry color that Jeep had. A lot, actually! My favorite Jeep colors are probably Sarge Green and then it's a toss-up between the Gobi and the Snazzberry. I hope they bring them both back! I think, and this is just my opinion, that if a household has two Jeeps, a little color variation is not such a bad thing. Be safe, brother.

I don't have them installed, but I have the same badge, but says Veteran Edition.

Good looking badge, matches the oem really well.

Nice job !

I wanted to go with the Semper Fi Edition, but my wife reminded me that it was HER Jeep, and that SHE was not a Marine. LOL. Be safe, Brother and thanks for your service.

I very much like the no maps front plate
You don't even want to know how many hours I had on the computer trying to figure out which vanity plate to go with. That is a MO plate, so it may be open in your home state if you live outside of MO.

I’m ex AirForce. Thank you to all my brothers and sisters who served.

I have one more year until I retire. I will defiantly consider one of these badges.
Thanks for your service, Don. I see you're from Illinois. I retired from there and moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, MO. I could sure go for some Portello's right now! LOL.

Reading the post about the Nighthawk package made me think about the Mojave that I bought my wife last year for her retirement gift (after 117 years of being an R.N.). We had originally ordered a Wrangler but before it came in, I was surfing the net (this is what retired people do all day) and saw the CRAZY deals they were offering on the Gladiators. Even though we hadn't really considered getting a Gladiator, the deal was simply too good to pass up. I took her to the dealership, and she test drove a Red Rubicon, and a Sarge Green Mojave. I spent too many years in the military I'm thinking, because my whole world would be OD green and desert tan if I had any say in the matter. The biggest thing for her was that she felt the Mojave was a better ride on the highway (if I am doing off-road driving, it's because I took a wrong turn).

I found these "Retirement Edition" badges while surfing the net, once again, at Badgeslide.com. I have one on each side above the front Jeep logo, and one on the rear tailgate. These are discreet and when people do notice them, I have had nothing but positive comments. We haven't had a Jeep since a Liberty that she wanted when they first came out back in 2002. She always has said that has been her favorite car in her life. Now her retirement Jeep (her name is "Olivia"), has taken that place. These Mojaves really are a pleasant driving experience on the road, and we have had zero regrets since purchasing this vehicle.

O.K., I'm not going to lie. When I saw the 2024 Mojave X's, with that Mantis Green interior, I considered trading this one in for one of those but when I ran the numbers and

it just didn't make any sense. I think that interior color combination is something that you either really like, or really don't though. I'm back to "everything in the world should be green I guess." Be safe guys and have a wonderful summer.

I was thinking the only thing I'd get would be DAD EDITION but this thing fucking sucks as a single Dad's sole vehicle.

Hi. What Front bumper do You have there please? Nice looking.
Hello!

The front bumper is a Smittybilt Gen2 SRC. This fits my 2023 Mojave, but apparently the 2024's have a different configuration on the front and this bumper won't fit a 2024 (ask me how I know - I LOVE the mantis green interior of the 2024 Mojave X's and actually considered trading my 2023 in for one... but, I just couldn't justify the $$$ loss). I did call Smittybilt direct, and they are supposedly making one to fit the new 2024's.

I do like the aesthetics of this bumper, but I got it mainly to turn deer away in a "car vs. deer" crash. We retired to very rural Missouri (Lake of the Ozarks), and there are two types of people that live around here. People that have hit deer, and people that will hit deer in the future.

I spent 32-years handling "car vs. deer" crashes and deer are NOT my friend. Our opening-day of archery season is Sept. 15th and unless it is raining that day, I will be up in a tree in our woods somewhere.

We also got the Smittybilt side-steps and the one thing that I would suggest with either of these is to have them sprayed with Line-X before installing them. They have some sort of an upgraded Line-X product (Line-X 'Xtra??), that doesn't fade. I did this to my front bumper guard on my 2010 Dodge Dakota and it still looks brand new in 2024!

It also has repelled a deer-collision before with no damage to the truck!!

Be safe friend,

Steven

(I told Microsoft Co-pilot to make sure 117 was on his armor and it still messed up the numbers. incredible. Out of four images generated, none got the 117 correct.)
O.K. - maybe it just "seemed" like 117 years! Working 12-hour shifts in a hospital was probably more stressful than my working 12-hour patrol shifts on an interstate! Never had a regular M-F 9-5 job.... wouldn't even know what that was like. :)

Be safe friend,

Steven

Must be a theme. After four years of military and 26 years of law enforcement, this was my retirement gift to myself.
