Rhinohide Armor opinions?

It's a neat idea, but these look like they would rub/chafe the paint under them. There is no way to keep dust or dirt from getting in between the panels and your paint. Maybe if they had a bunch more mounting points that held them off the body panels slightly then that wouldn't happen. It also looks like they could potentially hold moisture.

The other thing is that (at least here in New England) it is the windshield frame and fenders that take the worst beating off-road. The rhinohide doesn't cover either of these areas.

It depends on what you are looking for - permanent or temporary. You can have the entire outside sprayed with truck bed coating. You can also have PPF applied or, similarly, vinyl wrap material. IIRC, there are also some heavier weight textured vinyl wrap materials available. There are also temporary "track wrap" materials available like xpel tracwrap.
