Thinking of adding a supercharger to the 3.6.

After investigating is seems there are 2 really (excluding the 'Hamburger') in the running, RIPP and Magnuson. I have watched YT stuff on both and RIPP seems to add more HP for the $$, but that Magnuson looks 'oh so sweet' on top there! :)

What is everyone thoughts please?

Keep reading. At least one blown 3.6 owner said it basically wasn’t worth the money and didn’t get him what he was looking for. he’s in the middle of a hemi swap now

...hemi swap...
HEMI swap is not an option down under (in Australia :)).

Not looking for massive boost, just a little more ... but point taken and thanks for the reply! :)

I would go for whichever, brand will allow you the most tuning support in your area. The JT software on a stock vehicle has proven to have a fair amount of variability. One thing is clear, it is not totally understood by anyone including FCA. From a hardware perspective and robust installation, I think the Magnuson kit with a few tweaks gives you a very factory look and feel. And sounds pretty cool when dialed in.

I'd also look into the edelbrock system. Not as much power as the magnuson but the intake design allows for much easier access to the driver's side valve train. Will make maintenance and repairs much faster and simpler. Looks like a very well designed system

I'm also waiting to see what Edelbrock releases for their tune. I would love some more torque with my six speed, and Edelbrock offers something maybe a bit less stressful to the engine while still giving some punch. Website still says "out of stock" still. I think last report was waiting for smog certs.

99.9% sure that individual is 100% the reason we now do not warranty a DIY install nor sell to a DIY any longer.

I wish there was some sort of audit a DYI person could do for warranty. I would put my install up against any professional's or the Company's own install. Almost 20K of daily driving and work on my setup with three stellar oil analysis reports.

I agree. There are plenty of offroad shops that are not fully capable. We had to go back requalify and revisit our dealers. We require shops to have or purchase HP tuners to be able to provide a log in case of any problems. It's very hard to troubleshoot over the phone. lol
The diy guys that had done swaps or power adders in the past are some of our best customers.
