Hey everyone,

I picked up my Gladiator today and need to know which companies have rock sliders or step bars available right now for the Gladiator.

I'd prefer a set similar to the Smittybilt SRCs.

All help is appreciated.

Thx.

Rock Hard 4x4 has some as well. Just got mine in today. Mount to the frame and body (pinch weld) versus just the body.

i'm curious how well this will work since the JL and JT have the body isolated from the frame on bushings to specifically eliminate NVH and other stuff.

I had no issues installing them. I can take pictures underneath if need be. Took out the three body mount bolts, drilled out existing holes where factory rock rails go (I did not have any), and then slid into place, reused factory hardware and the supplied washers, bolts, nuts for the rest of install.

I think that the Iron Cross steps may look great but:

A) not certain how sturdy they are since they attach to the side rails only at the front, are not attached to the rails at the rear. If you have a super heavy person stepping on them then I just wonder if they would break off due to the weight put on them and

B) don’t think they drop down very much, may not help short people very much with stepping up and into the truck

I have not seen them in person so I can only offer up my comments based off what I see in the pictures. For short people, the lower the steps the better. My 2 cents opinion.
