I've always wanted to go full scrambler style with my gladiator, but I loved the bak revolver x4s cover, and that negated a roll bar. However, I was looking again at options today, and I ran across this from EGR,
Jeep Gladiator Roll bar with bak revolver x4s 64a9b28a4f8ef507d869b3c905821d5e__30416

Anyone tried running this on a rolling tonneau cover?

If it fits width wise you should be able to rig up something for the t-track.
Some threaded spot weld nuts will fit in there.

That one actually mounts to the t-track. That is what I was interested, but I hadn't dealt much with that company. I'm also debating how much harder getting the roof off is going to be, just for the look.

Almost talking myself out of it for that reason alone.

Yea I went through a similar thought process a while ago. I thought roll bars looked awesome, but...
  1. I have nothing to mount on them
  2. They make using a tonneau extremely difficult, if not impossible
  3. They're expensive
  4. They get in the way of the hardtop during removal
I'm all for cosmetic upgrades, but roll bars take way more than they give.

For now, I'm hoping Quadratec's Lost Canyon racks have some cool options once they finally come out. They're supposedly able to accommodate tonneau covers (according to Rob at the SEMA show).
