Installed a set of Rough Country Nerf Bars/Steps last night (literally in the night, haha). Bought them direct from Rough Country. They are the most reasonably priced ($349) bars I could find and Delivery was FAST!! They come well packaged. Fit and finish are very good on the set I received. Now, these DO NOT have capped ends, so if that's an issue, then you may want to look elsewhere.

If you go to their website you'll see a line about "Requires Minor Drilling", THEY DO NOT require any drilling. I verified this before buying by having the, send me a copy of the instructions and I chatted with them this morning and mentioned that they might want to correct that line.

All you need are 12mm and 13mm wrenches/sockets. I had these installed in less than 30 minutes in the dark and by myself. I'm very happy with the results.

I was eyeballing these, they look really nice! Do you have any pictures of the attachment points?

These use all stock mounting points. No need to remove any existing bolts unless you have factory rock sliders installed.

Here's the pics from the instructions that show this:

Those look great! My wife and kids have been begging me to get some steps so I’m looking into them now.

So something I just realized is that these step are identical to the N-Fab ones I just installed on my Gladiator. Even the instructions are the same! Looks like they both come from the same manufacturer in China but are labeled differently on the step. Bad part is, the RC steps are about $50 cheaper than the N-Fabs.

I think you are right, and I just realized that there was an extra flyer in the packaging about registering for a warranty. I just ook a look at it and it has N-Fab all over it. Coincidence?? Apparently not!

Look like they come out away from body on the ends. JT has a contour to it that I think early makers are not doing.
