Hi
Needs an advise to fix front tire rubbing after installing 35x12.5r17 on 17x7.5 stock wheels .

Leveling will fix it?
New wheels negative offset?

for some reason i was under the assumption 35’s will not rub .
Thanks!

35's won't rub on aftermarket wheels.

On stock wheels your tire sidewalls bulge more and yes there is a possibility of rubbing.

Cheapest fix is wheel spacers.

Thank you
Trying to stay away from spacers. What about leaving kit will 1.5” front leveling can fix the rubbing?

Where is it rubbing?

Without more info I would guess adding wheel spacers is probably where I would start......wouldn't think you need more height for clearance.

You don't have to go with negative offset, you can go with less positive offset.

Rubicon wheels were around 44mm positive, I don't know if yours are around there or not.

Hell yes put on a lift kit, never mind levelling!
After that, get spacers.

When u-turn or hard wheel turn its rubbing the back tire in fender area

You need spacers or wheels with different back spacing

If it’s minor rub just put a washer or two in the steering stop. I am running 37s on stock wheels and used 2 washers on the steering stops and no more rub. You shouldn’t need wheel spacers.
I had 35s on stock wheels before the 37s and they didn’t rub.

35's will rub unless you have Rubicon high clearance fenders.

This is exactly what I did for mine.

Washers on steering stop works. 1.5 leveling kit should also do the trick if you want to go that route.

So washers are required even after leveling ?
