I don't know how it's possible as it's not released/introduced yet but I saw a new grey 4 door Rubicon pickup in Truckee, CA today. It looked very nice in grey Rubicon clad. So how is it that one is already rolling around town? I want to be that guy...

I can guarantee it you were seeing a AEV Brute Double Cab conversion JK, not the new JL. The only 2019 JT Gladiator ever spotted is covered in black camo. Since you didn't get a picture, then I can't confirm my statement, but if it was not cover from head to toe in black plastic camo, then I bet it was a custom American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) Jeep JK based truck, with probably a V8 shoehorned in the engine bay.

I wish I had chased it down for a pic as I know the road he drove down doesn't have an outlet. I've seen AEV truck conversions before and this one looked like it had the new front fenders with running lights/signals built in but maybe I was just hallucinating... The truck bed I saw was definitely different from the AEV truck bed shown.
