Hey @NORDNDED I am not so certain that what you said may be totally correct. See the underside of this Gladiator. I think that this “may” be a base Sport model. I say this because it is equipped with just the standard class II bumper hitch that comes on all base Sport models. There is a chance it could be a Sport S, or an Overland or a Rubicon. But have you ever seen a Sport S or an Overland or a Rubicon without a normal looking square tube receiver hitch?

Anyway back to this picture and this bumper hitch. As can see there is a large round tubular support pipe thing under the truck. But that support thing does not extend out to under where the rear rock rail should go. In fact look at that area and you will see 3 bolts that I bet may be for a rear rock rail to be bolted on. And I think that it could be bolted on without any hitch of any type being on any model Gladiator. Just my best guess here mind you. But that’s what it looks like to me.

And I am also hoping that an aftermarket company could come up with a rear bumper side step that could be mounted with those 3 bolts. Or maybe you could use these 3 bolts to mount a rear rock rail.
Awesomeness!! Thanks both of you for this great information- jeeeesh I have no idea of any of this stuff. But learning more and more from guys like you in the forums. Exciting stuff.

The Rubicon rear rocker guard bolts to a bracket which bolts the side of the frame:

So the picture is what I’m looking at is what I have on my sport S ? I mean is it even feasible to get the rear rocker guards on my model ?

Also how does someone get the Moab edition rocker rails as seen in the YouTube video I posted those things were very wide

Most interesting. Looks like you may need to also get that other bracket in order to have a properly supported rock guard and/or a rear bumper side steps. Hopefully aftermarket companies will figure this out. Thanks for the info.

You may need the Rubi bumper, or trim the lower part of yours. There is a recess on the lower bumper for these to fit. The ones on the Easter Jeep Safari concepts are from Mopar.

All 4 parts are at Quadratec. $532.00 total. I learned from the Rubicon Rock Sliders I bought used for my Sport, I may want to go slow and wait for aftermarket to catch up. Nice product and purpose if you can spend now.

$85.00 Mopar 68356518AA Sill Box Bracket for Passenger Side on 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT

Yeah that's why after posting this thread I never followed through with it. $532 is money for an entire new rear plate steel bumper that wraps around and covers the same area these "sill boxes" cover.

Hello, I’m new to the forum. Recent Gladiator Rubicon owner, but many Jeeps over the years. I ended up at this thread while looking for more info on these parts. I’m getting really annoying dirt buildup on these rear rails and was looking for solutions. The space between the rails and the box side is always jam packed with dirt and mud. I was actually considering removing them. There are two holes in the bracket. Maybe can add something to block the dirt buildup. Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences or advice.
