Rubicon Steel bumper on Mojave HELP

Need some help with Rubicon steel front bumper install on my Mojave, and I don’t want to trim the skid plate. I had absolutely no luck, I went the spacer route with 4 spacers on each bolt, and still not even close. No shot that skid would line up. Trying to avoid trim, and want to have all 4 bolts in place on skid, don’t want to leave any off. I know guys have done it with spacers, not sure why mine didn’t line up. Any advice?

You may hate my opinion and that's fine, but you should buy the correct skidplate for this application, the Rubicon one that works directly with the steel bumper. It's a much better, OEM clean solution. The shock reservoirs work fine with it. Part # is

I had the same problem - Had to buy the Rubi skid plate and all was good
