Orded the below-rail liner and the bed portion installed easily. The tailgate portion was another matter. The top has an L bend that did not work with the bed rail cap pictured below. Although I neglected to take a picture of the L beforehand you can see where I had to trim it off to get a straight edge in order to install the tailgate protector. I am not sure if every JT has the bed rail cap but If yours does this protecter will not work without this mod.

I have the same liner. No trimming necessary on mine.

It looks the protector has a gap under with the bend left on it. Can you take a pic from the side with the tailgate open? Just curious.

I can see what you're talking about. It isn't enough of a gap for me to worry about. Picture looks worse than in person.

Hello - how did the rest of it go in? Pretty easy? I called a place today getting a price and they said there was the liner and a "hardware" kit? I've had plenty of liners in various trucks over the years...what is the "hardware" kit for?
Thank you -

You do not need any additional hardware, just unbolt the two tie down rings in the front corners of the bed, drop in the liner and bolt them back in, for the tailgate you remove 6 or 8 of the existing bolts put on the cover and put the same bolts back in.

Not positive but it looks like the liner has dimples where the trail rail attaches.
