I just upgraded to 38s and wanted a tire carrier for it. I went with the Rugged ridge. over all Iike it. my question is
if any one is using this tire carrier and has 38 or larger tire how the hell do you pick it up and mount it to the carrier? I had to use a 2x4 and a counter leaver to lift it and keep it a the right angle to go on the carrier. I dont know if the wheels im using that made it so had. Black rhino with -18 offset and 4.50 inches backspace. Any advice would help. FYI if you buy this and have a spray in bed liner form the factory you will need to tap out the holes on the front of the bed. mine was filled the bed liner.

Even more fun in a TJ with a top and a 34" wide tailgate/wheel wells :CWL:

The block of wood trick is the way I have to do it too.

I was going to upload a video of me nearly breaking my back doing it but this forum doesn't seem to accept any sort of modern file formats for videos
