Running boards

[Bgladiator]

Hello, I was wondering what running boards I could that would fit my gladiator. Basically I am curious if Wrangler running boards would work?
Also, being new to the Jeep scene I keep seeing things like jl, jk, jku, jkur, and so on. Can someone break all of this down for me? I figure these letter stand for something, just don't know what. And what years of wranglers interchange with our gladiators for parts like headlights, taillights, bumpers, etc.

I don't know if Wrangler running boards will align with mounting points for the Gladiator, but at the very least they'll be MUCH shorter in length; the Gladiator has a much longer wheelbase.

As for decoding all of the letters you mention, Wikipedia is actually helpful here. The letters refer to which generation/model you're talking about. The Gladiator model is JT; the current Wrangler model is JL, the previous generation of Wrangler was JK. Adding a "U" to JK denotes that it's the Unlimited (4-door) version; adding an "R" means it's the Rubicon trim level.

There is a thread early on showing one with Wrangler JL floor boards installed and it looked ghetto with about a 1.5 feet short of running the full cab length to the rear wheel well.

Need to look for steps made specifically for the JT. If you want OEM, watch the marketplace as guys sell their take offs which are usually from the Overland models.
