So I turned off the seatbelt chime using JScan. The little red seatbelt light is on in the cluster, I don't mind that at all. But is there anyway to stop the picture that comes up in the middle of the cluster (where it normally shows the MPH)? I have JScan and AlphaOBD Phone version and I am going to buy AlphaOBD desktop version. I am new to jeep and both of these programs...

I don't like the seatbelt extender.
I am just trying to find out if they is a way to turn that picture off so it doesn't come up anymore...

That light is hardwired into the system. No way to make it just stay off, other than...

Seat belt extender (no need to wear a seatbelt)
Wear a seatbelt
3/8" square of electrical tape

You don't know my situation, so don't tell me what to do...
This is the one BIG problem with forums.

I didn't tell you what to do. You asked for ways to keep the seatbelt light off, and I gave 3 suggestions. Take it or leave it.

I am not talking about the red seatbelt light. I am talking about the message that pops up in the center where the MPH is.
I know the red light will always be on.
Seatbelt extender is no good because you have to take it out to put the seatbelt in.
I need to be able to wear the seatbelt most of the time but take it off quickly some of the time. When I take it off that message pops up.

Hey man, I totally get where you're coming from, but many times there are options or solutions out there that we can help guide you to as well. Yes, people saying "just wear the seat belt" are annoying because they clearly didn't care about the post, but I do hope you're open to other options that aren't software related, even if you don't choose to go with them.

I don't like it myself in certain situations, nor do I like the extender, but I do like these. Would this work?

Seat belt extenders do not need to be removed to use the seat belt. They look like this:

You still can use the seat belt normally. The Jeep will always think it's clicked in. No chimes or dash warnings ever. Win-win.

I put this in my truck 2-1/2 years ago. It has never come out since. The regular seatbelt just plugs into this. It also has the added benefit of being able to drive forward and backward without the truck going into "auto park". Light and notification stays off at all times.
