I haven't seen anyone with a Leitner rack locally to confirm this, but the key shown in the product photos for the Gear Pods for the Leitner Active Cargo System is the generic "CH751" key. The key is shown on their product page here: http://www.leitnerdesigns.com/truck-bed-rack-integrated-gear-box-p/00-box15-01-1017.htm

It's the most common key in the USA, and almost anyone with an RV or travel trailer has one. I have 3 of them at work (fuel pump, 2 different sheds, fridge... all from different manufacturers). I suggest that anyone with a Leitner gear pod check their key and if it matches the photo, contact a local locksmith to replace the lock with something better unless you don't intend to store anything really important.

Many of us with RV’s replace them with this...

No need for a locksmith...easy switch. If there is more than one lock, you can buy multiples that are keyed alike.

It would be really cool if Leitner would partner with Bolt to give us locks that can be keyed to the OEM key.

I want a fingerprint reader and face recognition like my phone has. I think that is becoming pretty standard. Some fingerprint readers are sensitive enough you can you use any thing similar to a finger if you know what I mean.
