So we've been getting a lot of rain here in Colorado recently. I parked my gladiator at the gym and fumbled with my keys to lock the toolbox in my bed and the keys slipped from my hands....right into a pretty deep puddle of water
I quickly reached in and fished them out and my first thought was "sh!t, the Freedom Model M isn't labeled as being waterproof. my key is going to short out and not start my jeep to get me home because jeep in their infinite wisdom decided not to use an actual keyed ignition!" So I hit the gym and carefully walk out to the truck hoping and praying the key is recognized and start it and get home.
IT WORKED!!! Kudos to @Threedom for doing what they do. I don't plan to let my keys go for a swim again, but I'm thankful they engineered it well enough to survive a quick dip in a puddle!
