Can you (I) remove passenger seat to set up a sleeping system for fishing trips? Thanks.

The width needs just a bit more. My prior vehicle was a SILVERADO 1500-- nice and comfy for a *nap* with the seat in up position.

This guy sleeps in his Gladiator quite a bit. He is an escort for wind turbine blades and racked up over 100k miles Sleeping in the back seat with a custom mattress sometimes idling for 24 hrs 7 days plus in cold weather. Folding the rear seats with a pad on top might be a good option for keeping it stealth.

Backseat with blow up car mattress is probably the most comfort for the money. I think they fill the floor space in so you get more width

The width of the bed isn’t an issue, the width of the truck, however...
At 6’, I can’t stretch across the back seat, and end up with leg cramps.

the seats come out easily enough. Just 4 bolts with some thread lock on them; and of course disconnecting the electronics. You could totally pull the passenger seat and fashion a solo sleeping platform.

It would suck, altho building a platform would be easy enough. Just fold the backseat down and build a ledge to finish off the space to the back of the front seat.

Altho i'd sooner get a bad tent or an RTT before cramming myself into the backseat.

As someone who has slept in the back of a JKU in variously crap conditions I can tell you leg cramps are real and I don't care how tough you are, shivering in the cold with leg cramps sucks.

I couldn't imagine sleeping the short way. I'm 6' and the JK, JL or JT aren't wide enough unless I wan't to sleep sitting up. Equally uncomfortable.

How stealth are you talking about? A bivy tent with a cot rack is a comfortable and warm proposition if you can make it fly.
