After 4 years of owning several Gladiators I’m moving on. My driving commute has changed (6 hours round trip) and the Gladiator’s road manners and cabin noise was wearing thin on me. I’ll be posting a bunch of items I had plans for in the for sale section in case anyone is interested. Had a blast and will miss the community!

I commute a couple of times a month - luckily it’s not an everyday drive… 😊 The mpg hit was also a factor.

Bummer. Luckily I changed my commute for the better. Now I drive 5 miles to work.
What are you gonna get? The Maverick Tremor looks fun and probably gets good mpg.
I traded it in for 24 GMC Canyon Elevation 4x4. So far the mileage around town has been much better - the Canyon is averaging 21 mpg vs the Gladiator’s 16 mpg. I haven’t done the work road trip yet so I don’t know the highway fuel efficiency.

I did the opposite of you - moved away from the city during Covid! The commute is terrible, but it’s much quieter where I am now.

You should have kept the Overland!

Just kidding, sort of.
My Overland is actually quite good as far as mpg in mixed driving. Stock, it would match or beat the Canyon.
i have to drive almost a half hour to get to anything at all where we live, mixed driving for the most part.

But it's your drive, your needs, your choice. I can certainly understand seeking improvements in those areas.

I know! However, during the COVID shortages dealers were doing crazy deals to move new cars. The trade in on the Overland was too high to pass up!

Enjoy your new ride. We all have to make decisions based on our needs.

Should I stick around and brag about the new ride?!? 🥰
Yeah sounds like a good plan.
I could beat the truck you moved to in MPG's by just downloading the gear on and in mine.

But I can understand why you did jump ships. Rides like a car, few more miles to a gallon and don't have to worry about having ducks set on it or conversations with total strangers about Jeeps.

Ahhh the perks keep coming. I’ve got a ton of ducks as well… time to become a stealth ducker!
