Just bought a 2020 Hydro Blue Overland and I named her Afina, sounds like one of the female gladiators and in Romanian Afina actually means blue or blueberry. This was the first picture my dealer sent me. That was the first blue Gladiator I had finally gotten to see.

Man, I love this. I have had this same sticker on every Jeep I have owned. I love the history. Spent some time overseas with the military, tried to carry on the tradition. There are quite a few Kilroy's spread throughout Iraq and Afghanistan I've left behind... great legacy. Just bought a new JT, waiting on my Kilroy to add to it.

Apparently serendipity reigns supreme. Based on a sticker as a tribute to my grandfather and his service in the Pacific and the overwhelming response from our community, my Jeep is now Kilroy.

I looked up the meaning of the name and it "pure". I appreciate that as I'm a half breed like the Jeep and I've never been called pure in my life for so many reasons.

Nani was a nickname for a friend that just past away of cancer. When she past away we just purchased the gladiator. So we named the JTR after her (Nani), she liked Jeeps and we thought this was fitting, her Son was very touched as well.

ah sorry man! that is rough! I just can't believe how prevalent cancer and deaths from cancer are nowadays. Its terrible.
