How does this tow? I've recently been looking at a new TT, but need bunks. This is one and the 224BH look very appealing. I'm in North West Montana, so I would be pulling some hills and a pass or two.
I second this question. We have been looking at a few in this length/weight range.

I have the Venture Sonic which at 25' or 26' LOA, comes in at around 5,300 lbs loaded. Handles very well behind my Overland with the tow package. They have other floor plans for this size as well...some include a rear bunk bed set up. I could have gotten that one but, it's just me and the missus and I like having the outdoor kitchen.

Trailer info?

I have an 06 LJ and am looking at getting a 4 seater side by side. The side by side will be on the trailer more than the Jeep, but I’m trying to find a trailer that will do both.

i controlled the shifting manually the entire trip. It seemed to work great with me ups gifting when it hit 3000 rpms and if I was going up hill I would downshift to keep it at 3000rpms which seemed to maintain speed on everything but the steepest hills

I do the same thing towing but find that 2,500 RPMs is the magic zone. Running in 7th puts it around 2,000 RPMs and when going up a grade and speed drops below 58 mph, drop to 6th and around 2,500 RPMs until back to around 62-63 mph then 7th again. If the grade is requiring 5th, I take what speed I can get at around 2,500 RPMs and eff anyone who feels the need to pass because I'm going too slow for them. Mind you, I don't go over 65 mph whilst towing. My trailer is around 5.300 lbs loaded for camping.

I might have to give that a try.
I was hitting 70-75mph during my drive.

65mph just seems so sloooooooooooow to me.

65 is slow.
However I mapped my upcoming trip to myrtle beach from NY and the entire trip the MAX TOWING SPEED LIMIT is 55 mph!! The biggest thing I learned on this forum was that there is a towing speed limit?!!!?? So once you convince yourself that you need to try to stay close to the speed limit “60 being 5over here in ny “ then it don’t feel so bad lol

So I had a weird braking issue on the way home which I am trying to troubleshoot.

Seems like my 7pin harness is not getting power when I hit the brakes. I had to manually brake my trailer brakes via the app and o shit button. In researching this, I found that there are 2 20 amp fuses that control that and one of them is blown.
sadly those are a weird skinny size which I do not have spares for. So I have to get some.
Hopefully its that simple

Has anyone else run into something like this?
