Software update for locker rear

Reading a Motor Trend long term test on a 2020 Mojave and they mentioned a soon to be available software update that would let you engage the locking rear in high range. Has anyone done this? What is the Bulletin number?

You can already do that with a stock Mojave. However if you have one of the early 2020's, here is the TSB number. 08-030-21 Flash to the Drive Train Control Module.

Have you tried this process yet on yours? The procedure is shift transfer case to 4-Hi, press Off Road+ button, hold ESC Off button for 5 sec (it seems pressing it once disables traction control, holding it for 5 sec disables stability control), press Axle Locker Rear Only switch. The locker then shows as locked in the Off-Road Pages.

Did you try 4H Part Time? Just a thought. I have 4H Auto here too. Did not try it there though.

Yup, again if it's an early 2020 it might need an update, but my Sept '20 2021 jtr can do it.

Thanks, printed that info out and threw it in my Glovebox as I will never remember it in real time.

I did yesterday check it on my 2022 Rubicon and works as stated.

Agreed, I tested mine too. It obviously works with mine being a 23 But I was more or less checking to make sure I understood the steps.

I kinda wish the software would just activate the off road plus and disable the ESC if you enable the rear locker so you didn’t have to remember the procedure. Jeesh.
