Did a fleet lease with a guy, he was great to work with, so I reached out about a Gladiator as a personal vehicle since 70%+ of my driving is business activity.

Base being JT Sport in Granite, I have a dealer in Iowa I can do 5% off invoice, my credit offer from my CU, etc. My fleet guy killed all the dealers in service, class, and price, so figure I'd give him a shot.

After he talked to the fleet agent at a local dealer my guy called and stated the Granite was an upgrade color, not available on Sport.

I didn't have time to ask questions, he's not the dealer, but this one smelled like BS.

@JeepCares or any one have information on this?

I have worked with fleets and they like only white, black and silver. Other colors are harder to sell and get less money when they are turned back in. Could be what is driving the comment.

Thanks TireGuy!

Black Ford Fusions, White Ford Explorers, etc....

Kind of made me choke on my Cheerios when he said "upgrade" color. I haven't been able to justify the added expense for the Sport S for my use, and if it wasn't for Max Tow i'd be in the manual trans.

I sincerely appreciate the perspective!

As an aside, there is no up-charge for any color on Gladiators or Wranglers
