Looking at doing spacer lift for now. As much as I want a spring lift with all the goodies, I don't wheel anything to extreme and after reading the spacers lift posts this route seems more then enough for what I am looking to do. I've been reading about what's needed and I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, 1.5 to 2 inch front and 3/4 rear to keep a small rake for towing and camping gear. I'm going to add the mopar longer front lowers and most likely an adjustable front track bar and new shocks down the line.

My question is, Im between the Teraflex 1.5 front/daystar 3/4 rear vs the iron rock 2inch front and rear, which one would you go with? I like that the teraflex/daystar is a poly spacer because I feel like the ironrock being metal will cause noise or possibly be a rougher ride. Anyone have any input on that?

No personal experience with either but I’ve read that the poly could be quieter.

Have you considered a coil replacement in front? Like the Teraflex 2.5” Sport ST2 Spring & Spacer Lift System – No Shocks

Curious cause I’m debating between spacer options you mentioned and this.

Like you, I also don’t want to completely lose the rake of the truck

I had thought about Springs, I eventually want to get a full spring lift like mopar or Clayton with fox shocks. I've seen a lot of jeeps here with just spacers and for the 90% highway driving I do now this feels like a good option to give me some wheel well room for the stock 32 MTs.

I have the iron rock 2in and love it.

The spacers keep the rake but its not as noticeable to me as it is when its stock.

Just got my camper. 430lbs tongue weight, 3800lbs trailer, with weight distribution hitch. Sits just right as far as im concerned

Looks good! How's the ride? Did you get new shocks or just use the extentions?

I have the teraflex/ day star spacers and the mopar lower control arms set up on mine right now. My is a rubicon, but with this set up you will have more than enough space for 32s, I have 315/70r17 ko2s and these look about perfect to me. If you like the way the truck drives right now, the setup will maintain its characteristics. Spacers get a bad name, but for 90% of people they are more than adequate especially for on road behavior. I didn’t go with a shock extension or anything yet, I am looking at upgrading the shocks though. The dampening the stock ones have are a bit soft. If and when I do a shock upgrade I will most likely just go with falcon mono tubes. For me, the goal is to not go above a 1.5 or 2” lift. I wish I could test the limits of the vehicle but I haven’t had a chance yet. I do wish someone would create an 0” lift and just improved coils or 1” coil set. Synergy makes a 1” front spring but the shortest for the rear is 2”.

Yep, 2in front and rear. I added an additional 1/4in spacer in the front though.

I had a Teraflex 1.5" front (poly) and swapped it out for a RC 2.5" (steel) spacer lift. I wanted to gain back what a winch and bumper took away.
I can't tell the difference poly vs steel. The spring still rides on the factory rubber isolator.
Also running the Mopar 2" lift lower front control arms and Daystar rear .75" spacers. Still has a little rake to it.
Still debating on a complete lift. But, this thing rides and drives great, and it will be very very easy to take it back to stock if I ever need to.

I've been running AEV 2 inch spacer for about 5000 miles now. No problems. I'm thinking about he geometry correction brackets which are an additional option.

Did you have to add or change the sway bars with just the 1.5 or will the stock ones be ok?

Tjdave, looks good!

I did the Iron Rock 2” and love it. Pictured with 285-70-17s. Just remember to loosen track bars and sway bar links on install and retighten to factory specs when all four wheels back on the ground.

The Teraflex 1.5" kit came with the spacers, and lower bumpstops to add to the spring perches. That is all I did. I didn't add anything else and it worked just fine on and off road.
The RC 2.5" kit came with longer sway bar links, lower bumpstops, and shock extensions. I didn't add anything but the Mopar 2" lift lower front control arms.
The front axle is just slightly off center, but it doesn't bother me. I came from a lifted TJ!

When I did my install I didn’t do any extended sway bar link. From what I have read, anything over 2” would require the extended end links. It can’t hurt to get the adjustable extended one as long as they can get short enough.
